Steven “Sven” Johnson

I discovered photography and travel through my mom. As a kid, she always spent time planning the family’s travels while ensuring my sister and I had something to capture the journey through our eyes with. What began with disposable cameras evolved into a small film camera before I decided to sell my drum set and buy my first digital camera. I’ve been enchanted by details, fleeting moments, light, nature, people, and travel at every stage.

Since graduating from college, I’ve enjoyed working as a creative in the video game industry while putting photography and travel on the back burner. In 2022 I finally got to travel again with Erin Sullivan - rekindling a passion for photography and travel plus the inspiration to chase my bliss.
